Join the Celebration: Lottery Week Starts July 14!
Recognizing DC Lottery’s contributions to the community for over 40 years
WASHINGTON, DC – The DC Lottery is joining lotteries across North America in celebrating the seventh annual Lottery Week, beginning July 14, 2025. Lottery Week is an opportunity to highlight the many ways DC Lottery contributes to the vibrant culture and economy of the District of Columbia by providing revenue-generating entertainment through the sale of innovative lottery products and promotions.
From July 14 to 18, Lottery Week in the nation's capital features exclusive contests, citywide events, and a special one-day Mega Millions promotion. This week, Players’ Club members can score tickets to watch the Washington Mystics take on the Indiana Fever in September. On Thursday, July 17, players have a chance to win a $5 Mega Millions Quick Pick every time they purchase select DC Lottery games in-store. Also, on July 17, the DC Lottery will host pop-up player appreciation celebrations at select retail locations in each of the District’s eight wards. Daily social media posts spotlighting DC Lottery's varied benefits to the city are also part of the campaign.
